After stopping the nuclear train, let's derail the repressive machine!
Trial of the Castor 2010 blockade
on Wednesday 8 December at 2pm
at Caen Court , place Fontette
The CASTOR 2010, nuclear waste transport, from the Hague in France to Gorleben in Germany led to significant opposition and mobilisation.
5 day trip instead of the 3 planned: direct action against this train from hell proved to be effective and made people even more determined to say «No more Nuclear, ever!"
In Caen, French and German activists from the anti-nuclear non violent actions group (GANVA in French) blockaded the CASTOR for over three hours on Friday November 5, displaying the message "our resistance knows no boundaries"
The crackdown aims to match the strength of our action and solidarity that accompany it: 3 activists were seriously injured and 7 are set to appear in Caen court on Wednesday 8 December 2010 at 2pm after having coughed up bail for 16,500 euros!
We won't let such brutal acts and police violence go. We are counting on you with your moral and financial support and by your presence in front of the court before the trial.
7 December at 8 pm (at university) Film/debate showing: "Nicht Mit Uns" (Not with us) about CASTOR Transports
